The Nashville Grand Old Dulcimer Club

Nashville's Grand Old Dulcimer Club is a group of dulcimer players and musician friends who meet monthly to play, learn and share. We believe in the power of music and in the ability of the dulcimer to put music in the hands of everyone.

Join us for a special December meeting. In December the Grand Old Dulcimer Club will meet on the third Sunday of the month, at 2 pm on December 18th at Buchanan Log House. We plan to enjoy some seasonal songs, an open mike, and socializing. We hope you will share the tunes you have been working on lately. And bring your friends and family, along with a snack to share. Some of us are beginners, and some of us have been playing for awhile. David Schnaufer said that there was an instrument for everyone--they simply needed to find it. If you and the mountain dulcimer have found each other, or if you'd like to learn more about this beautiful instrument and its music, please feel free to join us!
